Welcome to your By Annie class here at The Village Stitchery of Jacksonville! Class will meet once weekly for three to four weeks depending on the class, with a total cost of $25 plus tax per class. Class supplies are available at the Log Cabin. Below is a list of supplies needed for class and how to prepare for class. Staff will be glad to help you with fabric selections and supplies.

Supplies

  • By Annie pattern for class
  • Required fabrics from the back of the pattern
  • Required amount of Bosal from the back of the pattern
  • Hardware necessary (found on back of the pattern)
  • 45 mm rotary cutter
  • Small scissors
  • Frixion marking pen
  • Chalk liner in white or yellow if you choose dark colored fabrics
  • Wonder Clips (at least 50)
  • Aurifil or Signature 50 thread in color to match your fabrics

Come to class with your fabric quilted, pieces cut to the correct sizes listed in the pattern, and edges sealed.

Fabric can be quilted on your domestic sewing machine, or long arm quilted by the shop for a cost of $25.00.

To seal your edges, sew 1/8” from the edges of all four sides of each piece. This compresses your seam allowance and will prevent fraying.

If you need any assistance before class, reach out to Charlene at 910.219.3305 or come in during Open Sew Friday for clarification.
